COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provide a better understanding and appreciation of the world through the study of the physical and human geography of the seven continents. "Geography is a field of science dedicated to the study of lands, the features, the inhabitants, and the phenomena of planet Earth" (Wikipedia.com: Geography). To be successful in this course, a student must complete their assignments, participate in small and large group activities, and demonstrate content knowledge through map tests, unit tests, and projects.
