Wellness for Life

Course Description

This course will provide learning opportunities for students to further develop skills and knowledge related to personal physical fitness and strength conditioning. The Wellness for Life course will emphasize the five components of fitness and may include specialized high-intensity training, free-weight and body-weight training, core work, speed/agility, and extensive running variations. Students will learn to create and implement a personal fitness plan. The students are expected to engage in daily physical activity and follow the guidelines, which may include written assignments, set forth by the course instructor.
