Course Description
Team Sports and Recreational Leadership is designed for students interested in focusing on recreation and sport settings. Team Sports and Recreational Leadership may include any combination or variety of team sports, lifetime sports, track and field events, outdoor education experiences, fitness, and recreational games. Students should possess a willingness to learn and/or lead a variety of outdoor activities and sports. Activities will center on the idea of directing team and group activities. Students will learn to design activities, identify risks, and modify for special needs to ensure a safe, and successful experience.
