The History and Perspectives of the Holocaust

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will encompass topics from 1933-1945 and the events leading up to this era, as well as topics related to genocide and human rights throughout history. Themes will include, but are not limited to: leaders, women, children, heroes, victims, and the countries involved. Instructional methods will incorporate novels, lectures, films, and guest speakers. Emphasis will be placed on current world issues and how they have been impacted by the Holocaust.
