Course Description

Architectural Fundamentals provides basic information necessary for planning various types of dwellings. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to communicate architectural ideas in an understandable, efficient, and accurate manner. This course will cover the development of housing styles, architectural drafting skills, planning structures, details of homes, and several hands-on projects related to class materials. Students interested in pursuing a career in Architecture, Computer Aided Drafting, Engineering, Interior Design, or other related fields will benefit from this course. No prior computer or drafting experience is necessary.
