I am happy to serve as the PK through 3rd-grade Central Springs Elementary Counselor at the Nora Springs and Manly sites. I spend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (afternoons) at the Nora Springs Site, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (mornings) at the Manly Site. I started working for the district in the 1993-94 school year when it was Nora Springs-Rock Falls CSD. I have had the opportunity to serve as the elementary counselor for Central Springs CSD since 2017. I am excited to be a part of your child's growth and development.
I work with students individually (short-term), in small groups during lunch, and in large groups during weekly class guidance lessons. My work with students focuses on social/emotional development, academic success, and career exploration. I want all of our students at Central Springs to be successful in their behavior, attendance, and achievement. In my free time, I love to spend time with family and friends, cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes, watch movies, and read good books.
