Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I ordered a yearbook last school year. Where is it?
A: Our yearbooks are set for fall delivery each year so that we can include important events such as graduation as well as our Spring sports seasons. Yearbooks are typically delivered during the first month of the school year, and all students will be notified of the date, time, and location for pick-up when they become available.Â
Q: I (or my student) graduated last year. How does yearbook pick-up work for a graduated senior?
A: Yearbooks for all graduated seniors will be made available for pick-up in the main office. They may be picked up by a parent/guardian or sibling if needed. The person who picks up the yearbook will be asked to sign our distribution log.
Q: I forgot to order a yearbook last year. Can I still get one?
A: Our yearbook orders are placed based on pre-order numbers. It is possible that there may be a very limited number of extra copies available on a first-come, first-served basis after the distribution of pre-ordered yearbooks has been completed. An announcement will be made with the number of extra copies available, and they will be sold for $40 cash or check. We highly encourage everyone to pre-order their yearbook to avoid missing out!
Q: I want to make sure I get a yearbook for this school year. How do I order?
A: Yearbooks can be ordered online at shop.yearbookmarket.com/parkhillscentralriii or by bringing the total price of the yearbook in cash/check form to Mrs. Mitchell for the order to be placed manually. Please note that our order link will not be active until the first day of the school year.
Q: How much does a yearbook cost?
A: We offer special pricing for the first half of the school year, so you can pre-order your yearbook for just $35 until January 16th. After that date, the price increases to $40. Personalization can be added for an additional fee ($5 for name only, $10 for name and icons).
Q: I have a senior this year and want to purchase a senior ad. How do I buy and/or create one?
A: All senior ads can be purchased and created on the yearbook market website (link above). Be sure to select "Senior Ad" from the products page, then you will be prompted to select your ad size and template. From there, you will be able to upload any photos and add any text you would like. Please note that senior ad orders are due by the end of March; they may not be purchased after the deadline. The order link will not become active until the first day of the school year.
Q: I am a CHS student and want to be on the yearbook staff. How do I get in?
A: The Publications class/staff is selected by application in the year prior. Applications are typically made available at the beginning of February and due by mid-March. Please come see me in person for an application or if you have any additional questions about what being on the yearbook staff entails.
