COUGAR CODE
Our Purpose: At our school, discipline is not just about correcting behavior. It is also about helping students grow into Christ-centered learners who honor God through their words, actions, and attitudes. Our classroom expectations are built upon our Cougar Code. When behavior concerns arise, students will be guided back to these expectations through reflection, restoration, and accountability.
The Cougar Code:

How Parents Can Support the Cougar Code at Home
You can help your child by regularly discussing:
Come Ready for Academic Success
“Did you give your best effort today?”
Only Act in a Very Respectful Manner
“Were your words and actions respectful?”
Use the JOY Model
“How did you put others before yourself today?”
Give Your Gifts and Talents Back to God
“How did you use your gifts to help someone?”
Accept Responsibility
“Did you own your choices and learn from mistakes?”
Remain on Task; Show God’s Love
“How did you show God’s love today?”
Our Goal
We want every student to leave our classroom knowing that mistakes do not define them. Through God’s grace, accountability, and support, every day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and honor Christ through our choices.
“Do everything in love.” — 1 Corinthians 16:14
When school and home work together, students are better equipped to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
