Please note that there are 2 applications. One is for University/College the other is for Vocational/Trade school.
The deadline for submitting applications is January 12. All applications must be mailed - no electronic submissions accepted. There are full instructions on the website.

Please find linked our webpage featuring a brochure and application for engineering scholarships. Both the brochure and application may be shared with multiple students, guidance counselors and teachers. The application deadline is February 15 at 5:00 PM.
Engineers Foundation of Ohio (EFO) scholarships are offered to outstanding high school and college students throughout Ohio who desire careers in engineering.
The scholarships are sponsored by EFO in conjunction with the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE-Ohio) and the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).

To obtain the current Engineers Foundation of Ohio Scholarship Brochure and Application please use the above link or visit: www.ohioengineer.com. Click on "Students & Educators," then on "Programs for Students," and finally on "Scholarships." Students should review the brochure and complete their applications. Materials may be forwarded, as needed, to accommodate your students.
To be eligible to apply for these scholarships, a student must meet all of the following criteria:
be a graduating high school senior (exceptions noted in individual scholarship descriptions);
have at least a 3.0 (A=4.0) grade point average;
meet the minimum SAT (Math=600, Reading or Composition=500) or ACT (Math=29, English=25) test scores as set by the National Society of Professional Engineers; &
be a citizen of the United States and a permanent resident of the State of Ohio.
Additional criteria are specified for some scholarships. Please read each description carefully.

The Youth Tour trip to Washington, D.C. has been planned for June 14-20, 2026. The trip is in coordination with NRECA (National Rural Electric Cooperatives Association) and is a FREE week-long adventure open to sophomores and juniors whose parents or guardians are North Western Electric Cooperative members!

This scholarship is open to seniors who are the child or grandchild of an active dues paying member (or deceased member) of the Knights of Columbus in Defiance.

This year the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of Ohio is sponsoring three $1500 scholarships, awarded to 3 graduating seniors in each of the 25 Masonic Districts in the state. At a minimum, there will be an award to one male and one female with the third to be determined based on the applications.
