HYBRID DETAILS - NOVEMBER 13, 2020 - NOVEMBER 20, 2020
High School
The entire high school student body has been split into two groups (Group 1 and Group 2). Group 1 reports to school for two days and then Group 2 reports to school for two days. This plan decreases the number of students in the building each day and minimizes potential exposure between students and staff.
Our students have learned the hybrid rotation as an A B C D rotation and their assignment, Group 1 or Group 2.
On the two days that students are not reporting to school for in-person learning, they are expected to check school email, follow teacher lessons/instructions on Canvas, and complete class assignments. Units will continue, and due dates will remain intact. Teachers have been planning for the possibility of hybrid learning and have structured their units so that high-quality teaching and learning continue, even when students are learning from a distance. Teachers check their email frequently to answer questions and meet via Zoom with students as needed and requested.
Middle School (7th & 8th)
Sixth grade students will all be back in their original pod locations, and they will attend school everyday, as normal. Monday, November 23 and Tuesday, November 24 will be virtual learning days for these students.
Seventh and eighth grade students will attend school on an alternating day schedule based on the first letter of their last name. On their “off” day, students may have assigned work or activities that will be a continuation of their learning from the previous day. They will not be expected to join "live" instruction via zoom or other methods on their off day.

PODS
PODS will continue to operate their normal schedule through Friday, November 20. PODS will operate at full capacity due to their classrooms being larger and students and staff having the ability to social distance. At this time, we are not experiencing staff shortages in PODS or the classrooms we are moving back to PODS later this week. If you are a parent of a 3rd-6th grade student, you will receive additional information tomorrow about which PODS will be moved out of the building and continue to operate at full capacity.
PK-5 (Classrooms located at Central Lee Elementary)
PK-5 students not in a POD off campus will attend school on an alternating day schedule based on the first letter of their last name. On their “off” day, students may have assigned work or activities that will be a continuation of their learning from the previous day.
