The 2026-2027 FAFSA will be based on student and parent 2024 tax returns, so make sure you file your taxes!

Additional Financial Aid REsources

Students who do not qualify to complete the FAFSA may qualify to complete the TASFA. Follow up with your high school counselor or college financial aid department for more information and assistance. Click the TASFA bubble to the left for information.

Local Scholarship REsources

Our local CHS Scholarship Blitz takes place early each Spring. We begin with the Angelina County General Scholarship in January and continue by offering a variety of scholarships provided by a number of very generous donors from Angelina County and surrounding areas. Scholarship opportunities are updated each year. Updates will be made in January of each new grad year. Remember to check out the scholarship opportunities at your college choice as well! Division 1 institutions have deadlines as early as November 1 of the year you are applying for admission.

The Angelina County General Scholarship Application is open to all Angelina County seniors each new scholarship year and is available in The HUB in January. See Mrs. Jones for your application as soon as it opens!
