I began teaching at Central Decatur in 2012. I started teaching fourth grade, which I taught for three years. I currently teach second grade at South Elementary.

In 2011, I completed my student teaching in Sioux City, and I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Elementary and Middle Level Education. I recently received my reading endorsement through Morningside College.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading and spending time with family. My husband, Zach, and I have a son, Paul. We enjoy traveling and attending sporting events together.
