I believe that as a high school teacher we need to prepare our students for post-secondary plans. We need to ensure that they have a definitive plan along with the skills to be successful whether for a career in the work force or college.

Special Education Classes - Resource English and Resource Science

Workplace Communications - This class is designed to simulate various forms of communication within the workplace including written and oral communication. Students will strengthen their written and oral communication skills as they work to compose formal and informal documents for workplace scenarios including appropriate letters, memos, emails, text messages, simulated social media posts, interviews, customer service dialogues, and formal business reports.

English I - This full year course focuses on a survey of literature in order to provide students with a variety of selections illustrating elements of short story, drama, poetry, non-fiction, and novel. Written and oral communication will be addressed through the study of sentence, paragraph, and essay structure.
