About Mrs. Walsh

My name is Mrs. Walsh and I am super excited to be your teacher this year! I am excited to be your child’s 3rd grade teacher. This is my 15th year teaching. I graduated from ISU in 2006, and received my Masters Degree in New Learning from the University of Illinois in 2014. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband Deric, and my two boys, Jack (11), and Nathan (7). We enjoy all things outdoors, hiking, biking, walking, camping, fishing, baseball games, etc...

I hope you are excited for third grade, as I have many fun things planned! Third grade is a bit of a transition from second grade but I have no doubt in my mind that it will be smooth for everyone! Although this year will look different than before, I am super excited to navigate through the process together in hopes to make it feel as normal as it can.
