Facilities and School Operations
Purpose
Assure students and staff can return to school safely. Covid-19 mitigation efforts require a significant shift in school operations. School campuses may include many locations, and may not be traditional school facilities and buildings.
Highlights from week of August 3rd-August 8th
Facilities and School Operations -- Wednesdays, 8 to 10 a.m.
The subcommittees are wrapping up now, as the Operational Blueprint for Reentry is due to be reviewed by the board on Aug. 10.
The subcommittee will continue to prepare for students and staff to be back in buildings so that we are ready. The first people to come back will be staff. Students won't be back in buildings until at least November, or until it is safe according to the health metrics provided by the state.
Members of the committee will focus on their specific tasks, or join forces with other committees to continue to build the Operational Blueprint for Reentry.
