Angela Bergen- Prek-12 Counselor
Hi! My name is Angela Bergan and I am originally from Platteville, Wisconsin (Go Packers!). After graduating from Platteville High School, I received my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville (It's a great day to be a Pioneer!), where I majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Psychology. I received my Master of Science in Education- Counselor Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. After graduating with my master's degree, I worked for a private non-profit counseling agency in Postville, Iowa. Over the past many years I have provided counseling to students at Central Schools. I am married to Craig and we have two adult children, Calvin and Austin. Our sons attended Central Community School. In my free time, I enjoy reading, sewing, crocheting, and baking. I am looking forward to getting to know the students at Central and helping them in their education. Heather Lechtenberg- Family Liaison
Hello! My name is Heather Lechtenberg and I am thrilled to be Central Community School's Family Liaison. I grew up in Elgin and graduated from Valley Community School District. I then attended the University of Northern Iowa where I graduated with my bachelors degree in Psychology. After completing my degree at UNI, I continued my education at Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids where I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since graduating, I worked for a small non-profit agency as a family therapist. I reside in Clermont where I live with my husband Eric and our 2 kids. As the Family Liaison, I will work with both students and families in order to help everyone be as successful as possible. I have a lot of experience connecting families to community resources, so please do not hesitate to contact me.
