Headteacher's Blog
Dear Parents and Guardians,
The past two weeks have been filled with exciting events and memorable moments here at Central.
Last week, our Year 6 children put on two outstanding puppet performances of "Rumpelstiltskin" and "The Mechanical Gardener." Their creativity and hard work was evident, and it was a delight to see their talent on display. On Friday, the turnout for our Art Exhibition was amazing! It was wonderful to see all the children sharing their fantastic artwork with their parents. This week, we have been treated to assemblies from both Reception classes. The children performed beautifully, and it was a pleasure to witness their growth and confidence as they move into KS1. Our KS2 Sports Day on Thursday was a real sporting success and the Summer Fair on Friday was enjoyed by all. Thank you to everyone who has helped to make all of these events a success.
On Friday, you will have received your child's report and information about their classes for next year. Please take the time to review these with your child and celebrate their achievements.
Next week, we have the children's Move Up Day on Thursday, where they will meet their new teachers. We also look forward to the EYFS/KS1 Sports Day on Tuesday. We look forward to seeing you there.
We know this is a busy half term with events and would like to thank you for your continued support and involvement in our school community.
Kind regards
Mrs S. Wright
Tate: Central
Dear parents and carers,
Thank you for attending our first ever Tate Central exhibition. The turn out was amazing and it was wonderful to see all of the children sharing their fantastic artwork.
We would like to say a huge thank you to Mrs Naqvi for organising the event and to all of the staff who helped set up and stayed to make sure the event ran smoothly. Our art/DT ambassadors: Georgia (Apple), Jana (Beam), Angelina (Beech), Harris (Walnut), Momina (Oak) and David (Chestnut) had the opportunity to cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony with Peter Taylor, the Mayor of Watford.
If you were unable to attend but would like to buy your child or children's artwork, they will still be available to purchase during the week of 1st July.
Below are some pictures of the event.

Attendance at Central
ClassDojos
At Central Primary School, we take attendance and punctuality very seriously. We aim to have an attendance figure in excess of 96% . Our current attendance percentage is 95.74%.
Attendance is rising! Thank you all so much for your dedication.
Please remember arriving on time for school is important because late arrivals will miss and also disrupt the learning already happening in class.
If you have concerns about or need support with your child's attendance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
