Diana for working incredibly hard with her writing. She is able to write two sentences in her literacy and drawing club, ensuring that she is adding capital letters and full stops. Well done Diana.

This week, we have been gathering information about sharks. Elodie has begun to use her notes to create her own non-fiction piece of writing that we be used in a class book.

Alice read text from a non-fiction book and made notes in preparation for report writing about sharks.

SEND Spotlight

As part of our new SEND Spotlight, we will be sharing a short resource each week that highlights a specific aspect of neurodiversity which some parents may find helpful. These resources reflect the range of neurodiversities within our school and offer all families an opportunity to build understanding together. This week, we are including a video about ADHD, linking to the work we have been doing in school around how our brains work differently and how we can celebrate these differences.

Attendance at Central

ClassDojo in Key Stage Two

At Central Primary School, we take attendance and punctuality very seriously. We aim to have an attendance figure in excess of 96% . Our current attendance percentage is 94.87%.

KS1:

Conkers - 100%

Pear & Mulberry - 98.5%

KS2:

Apple & Ash - 98.4%

Please remember arriving on time for school is important because late arrivals will miss and also disrupt the learning already happening in class.

At Central Primary School, we recognise pro-social behaviours in Key Stage 2 by giving children ClassDojo points. Every half term, the classes decide on a collective target to earn a class reward. In addition, at the end of the half term, we hold a ClassDojo raffle, where the children can win some exciting prizes! How is your child(ren)'s class doing?
