Mrs Bond's Book of the Week
This week's book recommendation is suitable for Lower Key Stage 2 children.
Mr Fantastic Fox
By Roald Dahl
This is a great, entertaining, memorable story of countryside conflicts. A delightful tale of greed versus nature. Farmers vs fox. A range of farmers are determined to kill Mr Fox by whatever means they can; shooting, digging him out and destroying his home or even starvation. The main character Mr Fox is cunning and a trickster and plans to outsmart the three farmers after him and still feed his family and all their woodland friends. But is he cunning enough?
Parents Coffee Morning - Develop a love of reading
STOP MEANS STOP.
Your lollipop man or woman will be wearing a bright ‘stop means stop’ tabard this October. The ‘stop means stop’ campaign is run to highlight the ongoing danger the school crossing patrols face every day when cars do not stop, even when they have stepped into the road.
Please show your support for them by stopping for your patrol.

Attendance at Central
ClassDojo in Key Stage Two
At Central Primary School, we take attendance and punctuality very seriously. We aim to have an attendance figure in excess of 96% . Our current attendance percentage is 94%.
I am very pleased to see our percentage rising but would love to see a higher percentage for our attendance!
Please remember arriving on time for school is important because late arrivals will miss and also disrupt the learning already happening in class.
If you have concerns about or need support with your child's attendance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Mrs Guthrie
At Central Primary School, we recognise pro-social behaviours in Key Stage 2 by giving children ClassDojo points. Every half term, the classes decide on a collective target to earn a class reward. In addition, at the end of the half term, we hold a ClassDojo raffle, where the children can win some exciting prizes!
1st - Oak
2nd - Walnut
