Dear Parents and Carers,
As we approach the half-term break, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on what has been a very busy and productive couple of weeks at school.
Parents’ Evening
Thank you to all of the parents and carers who attended Parents' Evening. Your involvement is invaluable, and we appreciate the opportunity to discuss your child’s progress.
Class Highlights
Since my last update, we’ve had some wonderful events take place:
Willow Class Assembly: Willow Class did a fantastic job sharing their learning with us in their recent class assembly. Mrs Bond told me all it was a pleasure to see their hard work come to life.
Year 3 STEM Workshop: Year 3 took part in an exciting STEM workshop, full of hands-on activities that sparked curiosity and learning. I believe we have some engineers in the making.
Year 1 Library Visit: Year 1 enjoyed their trip to the local library, where they had the opportunity to explore a variety of books and develop a love for reading.
Nursery Welly Walk: Nursery had a great time on their Welly Walk, exploring the outdoors and learning about the changing seasons.
School Council: We are thrilled that our new School Council has officially kicked off. They are already full of fantastic ideas, and we look forward to seeing their contributions throughout the year.
Fire Service Visit: Finally, a big thank you to the Fire Service for visiting our Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) today. The children loved learning about fire safety and meeting the local firefighters. We had our own fire drill this morning too.
Wishing you all a restful and enjoyable half-term. We look forward to welcoming the children back, ready for another exciting half of the term.
Kind regards
Mrs S Wright

Top attendance:
KS1 - Pine - 98.87%

Please remember arriving on time for school is important because late arrivals will miss and also disrupt the learning already happening in class.
If you have concerns about or need support with your child's attendance, please do not hesitate to contact me.

At Central Primary School, we recognise pro-social behaviours in Key Stage 2 by giving children ClassDojo points. Every half term, the classes decide on a collective target to earn a class reward. In addition, at the end of the half term, we hold a ClassDojo raffle, where the children can win some exciting prizes! How is your child(ren)'s class doing?
