Batik Oil and Watercolor Resist
Lexi pitts “Rainbow over the ocean”
12X18,” Oil Pastel, Watercolor Paint, Hot Glue on paper, 2017
I wanted to do a sea animal so i decided to do a jellyfish and fish and a rainbow in the sky because then the sky wouldn’t have anything in the sky and it would have been blanked and boring. That there is a rainbow in the sky and that the purple thing is a jellyfish and that there is a fish in the ocean. I would i have made it bigger and maybe made it lighter but would kept some of the dark spots the same as it is now. The thing i loved about my project was that i did the rainbow and the colors didn’t really mix together and the sky was light blue.
Ceramics
Lexi Pitts
LXWxH, Earthenware Clay and Glass, 2017
I shaped it how i wanted it to be or look and i picked out my colors that i wanted it to be. I used the nose long and put some kind of design on it that would look cool when it is done and i like how the eyebrows came out because of the design on it. That is is a ceramic shape project that we did in art-7 and what kind of project we did. The thing i would change the colors maybe, and then the shape of it cause it didn’t really turn out what i wanted it to look like but it looks good. I like how the nose turned out and the mouth and background of it.
Perspective drawing
Lexi Pitts “ scoreboard at park”
12X18, “ Graphite on paper, 2017
I took a picture and i used it to draw. I want my audience to know that it is a perspective drawing of a scoreboard. If i started over i would change what the picture has in it because the picture that i used was kind of hard to developed the trees and the score board. The thing i love about this is my scoreboard and some of my trees.
