Those who have props to drop off will need to drop them off at our Auditorium Doors. Please follow signage for drop off that day. Buses will then proceed to Bus Parking.
Suburbans/Vans: Will park in our South Parking Lot on the Southwest Side of the school building. Overflow suburaban parking will be along South 9th St. A coaches/participants only entrance will be provided through Door 13.
Buses: Bus parking will be at Howar Middle School, which is about three blocks away from the high school. A shuttle will be provided from Howar to CHS for bus drivers only.
One-Act Plays will be performed in Simon Estes Auditorium. Props need to be dropped off at our main Auditorium entrance along High Street. Please follow signage day of.
Props will be stored in our Band Room. Props may be brought onto the stage from stage left, and must be taken off the stage to stage right and returned to the Band Room for the remainder of the day. We will provide a stage manager day of who will direct you. No props are to be stored in Home Base. This includes boxes for Choral Reading or Readers Theatre, which will also need to be stored in the Band Room.
Any props or backdrop pieces will need to be able to fit through a standard entryway - there is no loading dock or overhead door available. Assembly may be done on the side stage once the pieces are in the building.
We do not have an athletics gym at our high school. All of our sporting events are held at Lakeview Elementary. This being said, we do not have bleachers in our gym, which we will be using as our Home Base for the day. We will provide some chairs, however please encourage students to bring a lawn chair if it doesn't take up too much room in your vehicle for the day! There is seating in the cafeteria, however we would encourage students not to utilize those so people may sit there to eat. No food will be allowed outside of the designated eating areas. If needed, we will use our Wrestling Room for an overflow Home Base. Shoes, food, or drink would not be allowed inside the Wrestling Room.
