PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – FOLLOW ALL STEPS TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION

Standard Registration Window: October 1 – October 22, 2025
Centerville High School students registering for May 2026 AP Exams must complete a two-step registration process. Exams will only be ordered once BOTH steps are completed:
Total Registration – Register and submit payment.
AP Classroom – Confirm intent to take each exam.
⚠️ Important Email Requirement:
Students must use a personal email address (not a Centerville student email or parent email) for both systems. Parent/guardian information should be entered only in the designated parent fields. Communication from the systems will only go to the email addresses provided.
✅ Registration is NOT complete until both steps are finished.
Exam Fees and Deadlines:
Cost: $103 per exam
Deposit: $40 per exam, due by November 3, 2025 (required for exams to be ordered)
Late/Change Fee: $40 per exam for registration changes or cancellations made after November 14, 2025 (applies to full-year and first-semester courses only; not applied to second-semester courses).
Final Balance Due: March 2, 2026
Late Registrations: A $40 per exam late fee will apply for registrations submitted after November 15, 2025 (excluding second-semester courses, per College Board policy).
Total Registration – AP Exam Registration and Payment
Total Registration is the system CHS students will use to register for AP Exams, submit payments, and receive exam-related communications electronically.

Log In / Create Account: A personal email address must be used when setting up your account.
Tip: Use the same personal email that you use for your College Board / AP Classroom account. Do NOT use your Centerville student or a parents email.Returning users: If you previously registered for an AP Exam or the PSAT at CHS, log in with your existing Total Registration account.
Parent communication: Be sure to complete the Parent Information section. Parents will only receive exam communications if their email is provided.

A debit or credit card is required for registration.
Two payment options are available:
Pay in full at the time of registration.
Pay a deposit of $40 per exam by November 3, 2025 to secure your exam order.
Exams without the $40 deposit will not be ordered.
Remaining balances are due by March 2, 2026.
Exams not paid in full by the deadline will be canceled without a refund (no exceptions).

Students experiencing temporary financial hardship and not already approved through Centerville City Schools for fee reductions must contact Mrs. Brown or Mr. Bucher directly to discuss financial assistance options.

CHS will not accept AP Exam payments.
AP Classroom communicates your intent to test directly to the College Board. In order to complete this step, you must first join your class’s AP Classroom section(s).
Once enrolled, be sure to register for your exam from your AP Classroom Dashboard.
(See the visual instructions provided below for guidance.)
1. Confirm Your Exam Registration in AP Classroom
Log in to AP Classroom.
Click the blue box titled “Register for Exam.”
Select “Confirm Registration”, then click “Confirm.”
You should receive a confirmation window verifying that you are registered.
⚠️ Important: If you skip this step and leave your exam status as Undecided, your exam will not be ordered.
Reminder: College Board charges a $40 fee per exam for any exam that is unused or canceled after being ordered.
Note: In order to verify payments and finalize exam orders, Centerville’s registration deadline is earlier than College Board’s
2. If You Have Not Joined Your AP Classroom
Log in or create a College Board account (only if you do not already have one from AP, SAT, or PSAT).
Use a personal student email address (not your Centerville email or a parents).
Use the Join Code provided in Total Registration or by your AP teacher to access your AP Classroom.
3. If You Plan to Self-Study for an AP Exam
If you wish to take an AP Exam for a subject you are not enrolled in—or if the course is not offered at CHS—please email the AP Coordinators for registration details:
