Social Emotional Learning

Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is an important aspect of being human. Traditionally SEL items have not been directly addressed in the classroom. The Ohio Department of Education recently adopted SEL standards and encourages teachers and students to delve into these topics. Mrs. Stamm believes that music is a natural and authentic class to explore some of these SEL standards. So don't be surprised when these terms and concepts appear in class.
