Students may only take AR tests at school. This 9 weeks goals are 12 points, 2 Nonfiction books, and 80% or higher average comprehension. The deadline to meet these goals is May 15th!
Dress Code Reminder: Students may now wear shorts to school. Please remember that they need to reach at least middle fingertip length. Holes cannot be any higher than middle fingertip length.
In Social Studies, students have started Unit 5: The American Revolution. Students are learning about the events during the years leading up to and during the American Revolution, along with influential people that were involved in this unprecidented time period. They will take a closer look at the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution. The second project of the year will be assigned April 6th. It will be due by Friday, May 1st! Students will randomly choose the name of an important person that was involved in the American Revolution. They will conduct a small amount of research about this person, and then, they will create a model of this person using a pop/water bottle and craft materials.
NWEA testing will take place the week of April 13-17. ILEARN testing will take place the week of April 27-May 1. Please be sure your student is well rested, has eaten breakfast, and has fully charged their Chromebook!
