Centerpoint Christian Fellowship is an Assemblies of God Church (part of the Northwest Ministry Network and General Council of the Assemblies of God) that began as Good Shepherd Assembly in the 1980’s meeting in rented facilities in downtown Coupeville.
Desiring to build a facility in a location that accommodated growth, land was purchased at the current location. When the building was completed in early 2000, the church name was changed to Centerpoint Christian Fellowship.
Pastor Mike and Michelle Coleburn pastored Centerpoint during this crucial time and continued their 28+ years of ministry here, retiring in 2023. Pastor Coleburn's knowledge and great foresight set Centerpoint in a position for lasting outreach and security.
Dr. C.A. Coats was unanimously elected as Lead Pastor that same year along with his wife, Ann. "Doc" has pastored large, multi-faceted churches in both the U.S. & Canada, and has taught Bible and theology at the undergraduate & graduate levels for many years in North America and Europe.
Our mission is To Reach our Community for Christ. Our core values are being faithful to Biblical truth and genuine worship. Worship means giving God His due and living in His character. Our desire as a body of believers is to rush the message of Christ to the fields that are ripe for the harvest.
Centerpoint meets Sunday mornings at 10:00 for in-depth Bible Study and 11:00 for Worship Service. We want the Holy Spirit to direct all our gatherings! Come join us for Biblical preaching & teaching, genuine love, and great fellowship!
