Central Nine Career Center

Center Grove High School Students who are in 10th, 11th and 12th grade have the opportunity to apply for vocational/technical programs at Central Nine Career Center. Students interested in these courses should discuss their plan with their guidance counselor when they enter high school in order that the entrance requirements for the C-9 program are met. Since positions at C-9 are limited, students need to apply during November of the year prior to their enrollment. Selections are made on the basis of grades related to the area of interest, attendance, counselor and teacher recommendations, and general school citizenship.

  • Students can earn up to 4 credits in their selected program each semester.
  • Opportunities for cooperative training during the 2nd year in several of the programs, allowing paid, on-the-job training with various area employers.
