Fall Musical: Big Fish 

Based on a novel by Daniel Wallace and the acclaimed film directed by Tim Burton with a screenplay by John August BIG FISH is a fantastical, heartwarming musical that follows the life of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman whose larger-than-life stories captivate everyone around him—especially his loving wife, Sandra. But their son, Will, about to become a father himself, is determined to uncover the truth behind his father’s epic tales. As Will embarks on a journey to understand the man behind the myth, BIG FISH explores the power of storytelling, family bonds, and the search for identity.

Come see Big Fish on November 6th and 7th at 7pm and November 8th at 2pm!

Winter Play:  Student Directed One Acts  

Student Directed One Acts offer students the opportunity to direct their own short play. In the past, students have even written their own one-act plays, and this program give them the chance to produce and bring them to life. This is a fully student-directed, written, and produced production—a unique opportunity to take a show from page to stage. 

Interested in Directing?

Applicants must be juniors or seniors, currently enrolled in or having completed a theatre arts class (Theatre Arts or Advanced Theatre Arts), and be passing 5 classes at the time of application. Application will be open from August 18th to September 18th. Directors will be announced September 23rd. 

Interested in Auditioning? 

Auditions will be October 2nd from 3-5pm in the Large Ensemble Room. Come prepared with a 45 second to a minute monologue from a play or musical, preferably memorized. You will only need to perform your monologue once for all the directors.

Spring Play: The Play That Goes Wrong 

From Mischief, Broadway masters of comedy, comes this smash-hit farce. Welcome to opening night of the Cornley University Drama Society’s newest production, The Murder at Haversham Manor, where things are quickly going from bad to utterly disastrous. Part Monty Python, part Sherlock Holmes, this Olivier Award-winning comedy is a global phenomenon that’s guaranteed to leave you aching with laughter!

Interested in Auditioning? 

Auditions will be January 26th and 27th from 3-5pm in the Large Ensemble Room. Come prepared with a minute long comedic monologue from any play. You only need to come to one audition date and will not be there the entire time.

Come see The Play The Goes Wrong on April 15th, 16th, 17th at 7pm and April 18th at 2pm. 

Tickets will be Available on March 16th! 

Senior Musical: Not Announced Yet!!   

CG Theatre Company produces the Senior Musical, a full-scale production performed entirely by seniors and led by a senior director, choreographer, and music director. This year's production has not yet been announced.
