I am Mario Ponce-Silva, I received the Bachelor of Engineer Electrical degree from the San Luis Potosi Autonomous University (1994), M.Sc. degree from CENIDET (1996), and Ph. D. degree from CENIDET (1999). Nowadays, I am a Full-time Professor and Researcher at National Institute of Technology - CENIDET since March 1999.
My research lines are electromagnetic launchers, lighting systems, resonant converters, wireless power transfer, and power supplies for ozone generators. On these topics, I have supervised 11 Ph. D, 48 M. Sc. I have 5 patents and more than 150 papers in Journals, Magazines, and conferences.
I am AE of the IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, and I am a senior member of the IEEE.
