B.Tech Admission
Allotment to 95% seats of the annual intake is made by the Commissioner for Entrance Examination (CEE), Government of Kerala through the centralised allotment process from the rank list of Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM 2026) conducted every year by CEE, Government of Kerala.

5% seats are reserved for Non resident Indians (NRI seats). For NRI admission, separate applications are invited by IHRD and rank list is prepared on the basis of qualifying examination and students are admitted from this rank list.

Academic Eligibility
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala, or Examinations recognized as equivalent thereto, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subjects with atleast 45% marks put together in the above subjects are eligible for admission. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science and Biotechnology the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. The marks as shown in the mark list of the Board of Examination obtained from the respective Higher Secondary Board shall be considered for academic eligibility.
B.Tech LATERAL ENTRY Second year Admission
Lateral Entry Scheme is approved by Government of Kerala as per G.O (MS) No.156/2002/H.Edn dated: 13.11.2002
and G.O(Rt)No.1305/2019/H.Edn dated 26.07.2019 for 10% of the Annual intake. Allotment for admission to B.Tech Lateral Entry Course will be made in the Single Window System of Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by LBS,Kerala based on state level entrance examination.

Academic Eligibility
Candidates who have passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.
OR
Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.
OR
Passed B.Voc/3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.
The Universities will offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme. (Ref: AICTE Approval Process Hand Book 2024-27, Section:8.2, IV, Page No:120).
The admission will be subject to regulations prescribed in the prospectus for B.Tech Lateral entry course 2026-27, and of the Universities concerned.
Diploma and B.Sc qualified students will be admitted to any branch of B.Tech, subject to having qualified in the respective Lateral Entry Test.
MCA ADMISSION
Allotment for admission to MCA Course will be made in the Single Window System of Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) conducted by LBS,Kerala based on state level entrance examination.

Academic Eligibility
Passed any graduation degree (e.g.: B.E. / B.Tech./B.Sc / B.Com. / B.A./ B. Voc./ BCA etc.,) preferably with Mathematics at 10+2 level or at Graduation level, Obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination. (for students having no Mathematics background compulsory bridge course will be framed by the respective University/ Institution and additional bridge courses related to
computer subjects as per the norms of the concerned University).
No rounding off of percentage of marks to the nearest higher integer is permitted
