Once a student has been added a site, instructors may manually add them to their courses.
Adding cohorts is an easy way to get large groups of students into a site. Instructors may then add them as a cohort to their courses.
Once a cohort of students is added to a site, instructors may add the cohort to their classes as a group.
If a student cannot login, resetting the account password is the first thing to try. There are two ways to reset a password:
The students reset the password themselves on the site. The password reset link will be send to their email account they have on the system. Checking the spam box might be necessary.
The instructor changes the password for them.
The video will show both ways of changing a password.
Please reach out to customer support for assistance if a student or instructor are not able to access their accounts.
Instructors can easily create accounts for their students. The manual registration is typically used to create individual accounts. To create accounts for entire classes, it is probably best to use the bulk upload feature.

At the start of a new year, you may have many new students. You can easily add student accounts from a spreadsheet into CDX. Use one of the sample files below and add your students accounts. The video will show you how to do it.
Bulk user upload is typically done by CDX support. Please reach out to us.
The self registration method allows students to self register on your CDX site. After they register at the site, they still need to be enrolled into your courses either by self enrollment or by instructor adding them.
Self enrollment is now enabled on all CDX sites. Please see the video on how to adjust the settings to ensure secure self-enrollment.
