I am excited to embark on my third year in the Upper Hall as the 6th and 7th grade math teacher (and fourth overall at St. Matthew). I'm a graduate of Otterbein College and Walden University, both with specializations in Middle School. Prior to coming to St. Matthew, I spent 12 years teaching 7th grade math in Southeastern Ohio. If you're doing the math, that makes this year 16 as a teacher for me!

Fun fact: I am originally from Gahanna and attended St. Matthew's CCD program through 8th grade (talk about coming full circle, right?!).

A little bit more about me: I attend Church of the Resurrection with my husband, Mike. We've been married about 3 and a half years, and it's been a heck of a whirlwind for both of us. We have spent the last few summers traveling to a variety of places--(everything from Disney World to Croatia (the picture at the top of the page is from Dubrovnik, Croatia) to Rome to Oshkosh, Wisconsin and then some). We are pretty big Disney fans and checked a visit to Disneyland off the bucket list in March. We will finally get to see Disney World at Halloween for the first time in October!

We are also season ticket holders to the Columbus Crew (we're loving our seats at the new stadium). Mike lived in Wisconsin as a kid, so he has also encouraged me to become a Green Bay Packers & Milwaukee Brewers fan. We are even shareholders for the Packers (Go Pack Go!). Of course, since I've lived in Central Ohio my whole life, I'm also a fan of The Ohio State University. When we aren't cheering for one of our teams, traveling, or volunteering at Resurrection, we love spending time with family--including our favorite little humans (our 6 nieces and nephews + 1 more due in December).
