The invasion of the Soviet Union

In 1941 Germany invaded the Soviet union during the time of the Ghettoization in Poland. Men from Einsatzgruppen or "action squads" killed every Jew on spot from children to the elderly. Some Jews were forced to sit near a trench and wait to be shot so that their bodies fell in. This process of killing was easier because then they could cremate all the bodies in the ravines and have no evidence left of the bodies.
