Teacher Profile

Hello! My name is Mrs. Nowalk and I am teaching 6th and 7th grade Math, 7th grade Health, and 6th grade Religion at St. Matthew School this year.

I received my undergraduate degree in Child Development Psychology from Denison University where I played volleyball for 4 years. I earned a Master's degree in Education (4-9 Math and Science, 4-6 Generalist Endorsement) from Ashland University. I taught Physical Education for 7 years before moving to 6th grade in 2012. This is my 8th year teaching 6th grade and my 15th year teaching overall.

My husband and I have three active young boys (ages 15, 10, and almost 6) that keep us very busy! In my spare time, I like to run, shop, travel, and spend time with my family.
