About Me!
About Me!
I am so thrilled to be here with you all and just wanted to let you know a little about me! I grew up in Gig Harbor, WA, and graduated from Peninsula High School in 2003. I went on to get my degree in Education at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington State. I got my first teaching job in Vancouver, WA, teaching 7th-grade life science. After a year there, I married into the military and have been traveling along with my family for the last decade, working in a variety of school districts in Hawai’i, California, Virginia, Washington, and now here in Idaho. I have 2 children, 2 dogs, and a guinea pig (I stay busy!). After having my son, I developed a passion for photography and continue to take photos of my family, friends, pets, and flowers! I am so glad to be back here in my 5th year at WMS and can’t wait to get to know you a bit more this year.
