Maddy Pratt

Hi, my name is Maddy Pratt, and I'm a 16-year-old student-athlete from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I've been playing softball since I was five and have been a part of my travel team, Crush, since I was eight. For the past two years, I've been a starting first baseman on my high school’s Varsity team. I also played basketball growing up but decided to focus fully on softball after my freshman year. Off the field, I’m involved in student council, enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and love boating and shopping. I take my academics seriously and maintain a GPA above 4.0. I’m passionate about the game, always working to improve, and excited to continue growing as a player and teammate.

After playing softball nearly my entire life, I know I’m not ready to hang up my glove just yet. My goal is to continue competing at the collegiate level while pursuing my academic interests. I hope to attend a college with a strong nursing program, as I plan to earn my degree in nursing along with taking Spanish classes to work toward a minor in foreign language. My dream is to become a traveling nurse for a few years, combining my love for healthcare and adventure before eventually settling down. I want to finish my softball career on the highest note possible, and I believe college is the perfect place to compete in a sport you're passionate about while preparing for your future beyond the field.
