Preseason Open Workouts
PreSeason Open Workouts will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 - 4:00 PM beginning the first week of October.
PreSeason Player/Parent Meeting
Plan on a PreSeason meeting to be held on Wednesday, February 7th at 7:15 PM in the team room above Jordan Court.
Tryouts
Tryouts for the 2024 teams will take place on Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th. Team rosters will be published on this website by the evening of Saturday, February 24th.
After Teams Have Been Selected
There will be a mandatory player/parent meeting for each team on the evening of Monday, February 26th in the team room above Jordan Court. Freshman Team - 6 PM, JV Team - 6:30 PM, Varsity Team - 7:00 PM
Required practices begin on Monday, February 26th. The coaching staff will communicate practice and game schedules with your son through the GroupMe app.
Rostered players are required to purchase the following items on our BSN Team Store: Frosh Players: one pair of gray pants w/blue piping, royal belt, royal socks, royal compression undershirt, long sleeve T-shirt, and a red hoodie. JV Players: one pair of gray pants w/blue piping, blue belt, blue socks, blue compression undershirt, long sleeve T-shirt, and red hoodie. Varsity Players: one pair of gray and and one pair of white pants w/royal piping, royal and red belt, royal and red socks, royal and red compression undershirt, long sleeve T-shirt, and a black or red hoodie.
Returning players may have already purchased some of these items last season. These players do not need to buy new clothing items as long as their old items are clean and in good repair.
Hats have been purchased with Parker Ticket sales from last season. A hat will be issued to your son at the first practice.
The team store will open on Saturday, February 24th and close at midnight on Monday, February 26th.
We never want a player in our program to not be able to play because of his family's financial situation. If your family can't afford the required player clothing, please notify Coach Karns by email immediately.
Spring Break Information Freshmen and JV teams will likely have games the Thursday before break. All Varsity players and a couple JV players will participate in a tournament at Rocky Mountain HS/Eagle HS on Friday, March 22nd and Saturday, March 23rd. The plan is to leave after practice Thursday, March 21st and to return late Saturday or early Sunday AM. No practices/games will be held March 24th - March 31st. All teams will resume required practices on Monday, April 1st.
Players will sell 5 Parker Toyota Raffle tickets. These will become available after Spring Break.
Please consider becoming a sponsor of our Dugout Club. We receive limited funding from our athletic department to run the program. In addition to yearly fixed costs (purchase of baseballs, field maintenance, replacement of old equipment/uniforms), we are working to improve our baseball facilities. Thanks to the generous support of the Dugout Club, we have been able to construct a visitor bullpen, repair our home bullpen, repair our outdoor hitting facility, build storage units in our dugouts, paint/stain the dugouts/wooden backboards, add dugout safety fencing, and replace dugout benching.
This year's Viking Country Auction will be held March 9th, 2024. Many of our families/supporters have generously donated items for this year's auction. 100% of money that is raised for the items that have been designated "Baseball" will go directly to our baseball program.
