My idea was to make a pumpkin that had enough space in it to put stuff in it if I wanted to, like a light or whatever else could fit. I used coils to wrap it around and make the pumpkin shape. I used almost all of the tools I could find. It's not really symbolic in any way, it's really just a pumpkin that I made green. Actually, laying the coils was the most difficult part. If I started over, I would do it better because the coils didn't turn out the greatest. The style of art is realistic because it's made to look like an actual pumpkin. It's not really unique because it's just a pumpkin, but I like the color of green color I used on it.
My idea was to make a charcuterie board that I could use to set stuff on, or just whatever I felt like using it for. I made the clay into a slab, and then I used the styrofoam cutout to make it into a bowl like shape, and then I molded them together. I used almost all of the tools I could find to smooth it out, or to shape it and connect them together. It's not symbolic in any way, it's just a charcuterie board. The most difficult part was connecting the different pieces and making sure they wouldn't fall apart and stay together. The style of art is realistic because its based on being able to hold real crackers and meats and cheeses. Its not very unique because its a normal charcuterie board but I like the color that I used on it.
