My idea for this artwork was to draw something connected to basketball and sports because I enjoy watching and learning about basketball. I chose the Harlem Globetrotters because they are known for being entertaining and talented, and I thought their basketball design would look cool in an artwork. My idea evolved when I decided to focus mostly on the basketball and make the colors bright so it would stand out more. I was inspired by sports logos and basketballs I have seen in games and online.
For my process, I first sketched the shape of the basketball and the shadow with pencil. After that, I outlined everything with black marker so the shapes would look cleaner and bolder. Then I used colored markers to color in the red, blue, brown, and gold parts of the drawing. I tried to make the colors smooth and neat while also making the words easy to read.
The artwork represents teamwork, sports, and entertainment. I want the audience to think about basketball and how sports can bring people together and inspire people to have fun. The basketball is symbolic because it represents the Harlem Globetrotters and their history in basketball culture. The bright colors also help symbolize energy and excitement.
The most difficult part for me was drawing the letters evenly and making the basketball shape look correct. I also struggled with coloring neatly without going outside the lines. I overcame these struggles by taking my time and fixing mistakes carefully as I worked. If I started over, I would probably add more details and shading to make the basketball look more realistic.
This artwork is mostly realistic because it is based on a real basketball design, but it also has a cartoon-like style because of the bold outlines and bright colors. What makes it unique to my personal style is the simple design and strong colors that make the drawing stand out. I love how the artwork looks fun, colorful, and connected to sports that people enjoy.
My idea for this drawing was to make a dark and quiet scene with nature and an old building. I wanted it to look calm but also a little mysterious. I got the idea from looking at nature pictures and cloudy weather. While I was drawing, I added more shading to make it look deeper and more interesting.
For my process, I first drew the shapes lightly with a pencil. Then I added the building, trees, and clouds. I used shading and blending to make the drawing look darker and smoother. I also used different pencil pressures to make some areas darker than others.
This artwork means mystery, nature, and loneliness. I want people to look at it and think about what is happening in the scene. The clouds can symbolize what's up and coming or even hope. The building could represent safety or being peaceful.
The hardest part for me was the shading and making the drawing look balanced. I also had trouble making the clouds and background smooth. I fixed this by taking my time and blending the pencil more carefully. If I could start over, I would add more details and darker shadows.
This artwork is realistic because it shows a real-looking landscape and building. My style is simple but uses a lot of shading to create a mood. What I love most about this drawing is the dark atmosphere and how calm it looks.
My idea for this drawing was to create a picture of my friend and me and make our faces the main focus. I wanted it to look realistic but still simple. I got the idea from looking at photos and pictures of people online. As I kept working on it, I added more shading and details so the faces would stand out more.
For my process, I started by drawing the clothes and background details. I used shading to give the faces more shape and make them look more realistic. I also added some color in the background and clothing to make the drawing less plain.
This artwork represents friendship and human emotion. I want people to notice the expressions on the faces and think about the connection between the two people. The faces are the most important part because they show personality and feeling. The simple background helps keep the attention on the people.
The hardest part for me was making the faces look even and realistic. I also had trouble drawing the hair and blending the shading smoothly. I improved it by slowing down and fixing small details as I worked. If I started the drawing again, I would add more background details and improve the face proportions further.
This artwork is realistic because it is based on real people and facial features. My style uses simple lines and soft shading to make the drawing look natural. What I like most about this artwork is the facial expressions and how the shading gives the drawing more life.
