Alien’s in Space

12 x 18, Acrylics on Canvas, 2020

My idea was to paint something that was outer space but also something that is not outer space. I got this idea to paint Saturn, stars, meteors, and mushroom than the alien because I like to paint or draw things that are outer space. The painting was evolving when I added more details to the alien by making the alien more or less of a hippie. Evolving the Saturn by adding different colors and spots on the Saturn. Some of the stars in the painting were evolved into meteors. The tools I used were some acrylic paint and some paintbrushes and then I used acrylic markers. Techniques I used for the background were some shading and then I used different patterns. The artwork means that there are a lot of unexpected things in life and I want people to think about all the things going on in space and no one really knows about. The most difficult thing in the painting was the shading in the background and I overcome this by adding the green planet in the painting and I would change the mushroom in the painting by making it smaller. This style of art is non-objective and this is unique to my style because I get more ideas when painting not real-life things and while I’m painting I think of new ideas. What I love about the painting is how vibrant colored the painting actually is by how bright the colors are and the meteors and stars but I like everything about the painting.

4,6, Paint Markers, 2020

I wanted to make a fall-themed painting or to make one of the seasons. I got this idea by how the weather outside and to have all the seasons on different canvases. The inspiration was from nature because of all the different leaves changing to different colors of red, orange, yellow. The tools I used were paint markers. The techniques on the painting are the leaves I kept dabbing the colors on. The clouds I dabbed a little bit of color on and then used my finger and smeared the color. The artwork means the season of fall and I want my audience to think of the season of fall and the leaves changing. The most difficult thing was the leaves and the sky and I overcame this by carefully tracing the outside of the pumpkin. The ground and trying not to get the color of leaves in different spots. The thing I would change would be the pumpkin. Non-

Objective and the thing I love about it is the leaves.
