Grandpa's Car as a Sprint

On my mother’s side of the family we are a bunch of racers. My grandfather owns a midget race car and it has a beautiful scheme to it. A nice shade of light blue with dark black and white. I love dirt racing and decided to take my grandfather’s car and make it into a sprint car to see how it would look. For this project I took one of the photos I took in the pits at one of his races as a reference for the car colors. I started off by drawing the sprint car outline so I knew what I was working with for the color scheme. Next I drew the logos on the car and the numbers. Then I started coloring in the light gray and the gold. After that I colored in the light blue and finished the car by coloring the rest black. Finally I drew my grandfather’s racing logo called “Ray Racing” and colored it in to match the actual logo.
