This is my third year of doing the Art of Conservation Fish Art Contest and this is the work I chose to enter it. I decided to use a picture of a bass I caught as a reference and turned it into an awesome work of art. I started by drawing the outline of the fish and my arm/hand. Then I drew the details of everything in. Next I started by painting the top of the fish and slowly went downward with my painting. Afterwards I did some more details for the fish and finished by painting my hand and sweatshirt sleeve.
