So, we did a baseline painting in class. We had to pick a card for the painting. My process was simple: I used blue to create an ocean-type of waterscape, then, after that, I used black to make the birds in the sky, followed by the sun and the gray clouds, and for those, I used yellow and gray. I think it was a good start to the painting year.

I wanted to do this painting because it was October, and I wanted to do something for Halloween. So, essentially, what I did was paint the canvas completely black, then I traced the pumpkin on the back canvas, after I painted it orange, and then traced with white. It was pretty simple and easy, first painting I'm happy with it.
So I picked Fall scenery for my second painting, and it was a challenge for me because it needed a lot more detail in this painting than the last. This Painting, for me, was definitely overwhelming at first, but once I got the background colors done, it went smoothly. After I did that, all I needed to do was touch up the water and dot up the trees. It was still a hard painting, and there are still things that I need to do, but so far it's shaping up well
I picked a winter scene for my third painting. I chose this painting because the time frame was around Christmas, and I needed a third painting. I wanted the painting to be a Cold winter night in the Arctic with the northern lights in the backround. I feel I had the most fun with this painting because the mixing and swirling of the colors while the paint was still wet was fun, and that's what ended up creating the cool patterns within the painting. I struggled with the trees, but they still turned out good overall. I think it's a good painting that turned out well
