I wanted to put all the words that describe Winnie-the-Pooh around him and on top of him. He has a lot of words to describe him so I just put down as many as I could think of.
I put a screenshot of him on layer 1 of Illustrator. Then I traced him in layer 2 with the pen tool. I made sure I traced all the details. Then I clicked the eye by layer 1 so the picture disappears and then all you can see is the pen traces. Then I went back to layer 2 so I could make a list of all the words I wanted to use. Then I rearranged them all in different fonts, colors, and sizes. Then I put them on him and beside him.
I used different fonts, colors, and sizes so the text would stand out. I used a variety of colors on the text so it would send a different meaning to each word.
It was hard to figure out the different sizes I should do that would fit into the picture. So I just kept messing around with all the different options until I saw ones that worked well with it.
This type of art is pop. It has to do more with technology than anything.Â
