My idea was to paint a picture of a sunset. I got the inspiration to do a sunset from photos off my phone. I decided to add a cactus in it too with little bushes and and little wight dotes on the sunset so it would look like stars. I made it look realistic a possible. I did the painted the sunset on the paper and then I drew the cactus with a pencil and painted it after then I painted the sun with the little plants. It was a little hard blending in the sunset. If I where to start over then I would make the sunset a little darker and make the cactus black so it would look like it was dark out. My style of art work is realistic because it had a sunset with a sun, a ground (hill), a cactus, and plants. The detail to the baseline is basic and has meaning to people that like sunsets. I need more practice blending in the colors and making the plants more like plants.
My Idea was to paint a picture of my dog as a puppy. I got this idea by going through my photos and picking something. I think I did really well on it. I drew my dog on the canvas and then painted it with colors. I want the audience to think that I did a good job on it and that it means a lot to me that I can paint well because I never knew that I could paint like that. There is no symbolic imaginary work in my project. The most difficult part to do was making the shape of my dog. It was a little hard making the shapes so I had to use so many coats when it was messed up and I felt like I wanted to restart so many times but decided to keep trying no matter how many times I messed up. If I were to start over I would make it have more detail and not have so many coats. The style of it is abstract because I do not have much detail but you can tell it's a dog. I like that I have made it into a dog but I also think that I might need more practice with paint.
This is the same as the baseline art that I painted.
