Artist statement
My idea was to make a bunny so I could know how to make one. I made it as a shaded bunny and I wanted to make a project reflecting on it and I wanted to start on a bunny for my baseline and do my project as it. I thought that it would be cool to do but divided to do something else. For my bunny I added some grass to it and added a little detail to it. The face outline is a little dark, I think that I could have made it a little darker and not have it so noticeable. For this I used a pencil, blending stick, and a half sheet of paper for my "bunny". If i could change something to my project I would make it so it would be color instead of pincil. My style of art is abstract because i made it not fully realistic but realistic enough where you know what it is. you can tell that its a bunny and it would look so much better if it was colored like a light brown. I like how this turned out it looks better then it does in the picture.
My Idea was to make a picture of my grandma's dogs that passed away in a fire. What I used was a pencil, and a blending stick. I made this artwork because it means a lot to my grandma and I. I want my audience to think that the dogs are cute and my love for animals. There is no symbolic imagery in my work. This was based off of a picture my grandma took and I think that I did a pretty good job. This inspired me to keep trying and doing my best in art. The most difficult thing to do was shading and shaping. I overcame my struggles by making it into the exact drawings as the picture. If I restarted it I would change the project into color instead on black and white. My style of my art is abstract because I made it not completely realistic but realistic enough to know that it is a dog project. I like how perfect my project came out.
My idea what to make a peice of artwork as me as a little kid. This has meaning to me because you can never be a little kid again. I used a pencil to trace out what it was going to look like and then started to do oil pastil. It took me a while to get the right color as i needed and the shape. They is no symbolic imagery in my work. this was based off a picture my mom took when I was younger. This inspired me to keep trying even if it looks bad. My style of art was abstract because it wasn't but you can tell its a drawing of a person.
