lindy heister, "quite"
18x24, graphite, 2018
i wanted this piece to be made with graphite cause of the great shadowing it can provide, and with the fact that if i make a mistake i can fix it. i also wanted this to be realism cause i feel a pencil can provide this better then markers could. with the fact it helped give this piece better depth and meaning. i feel like this just shows a girl keeping t herself. not to much id going on. but i think you make up what you want with the picture. if i were to start over i might ass the littlest bit of color in the lips to give great contrast i love just knowing thus it took lot of time to do. and that i know that i could do better and pushed my self to do that.
Lindy heister, “deeper beauty.”
12x18, graphite art, 2018
this would be realistic, I wanted to do something dark but still keeping a beautiful look. I wanted to show lots of little detail. I really think that this is more of something I do and what I think is ‘cool’. I would if I did this again I would do something more with the eyes. I love the detail of the choker.
