My drawing is of a sunset above a field. I got this artwork idea because I love sunsets. I took this picture, and I decided that's what I wanted to draw. All of the artwork I've seen that concerns sunsets look realistic and cool.
The first thing I did was sketch it out in pencil. After this, I used colored pencils. Colored pencils were the coloring technique I decided to use. I also blended the sky a lot and layered the coloring,
This artwork shows the beauty of Earth. We have problems with our world, but sunsets are the best part of it. This also shows that after a bad day, the next day is a new day, and it starts with beauty (the sunset). Sunsets symbolize beauty, good, love, and mystery.
The most difficult part for me was the sky. I had a hard time trying to figure out how to start it. I asked for help, and I was told to start with the lighter colors and work my way up. The sky had a mixture of blue, yellow, orange and pink, and these colors overlapped each other a lot. I had to do a lot of blending to make the sky look good too.
This style of art is realistic. This makes it unique because it's not just any sunset, there is more details in the background, such as trees, a part of the house, part of a deck, a road, and a ditch on each side of the deck. I really like the sky of this artwork. I had struggles with it, and I'm really glad it turned out decent.
I'm still in the process of drawing this. I need to add more detail, such as waves in the ocean and grains of sand on the ground. This is a drawing of my grandparents, and I decided to draw it so that I could give them this gift for Christmas.
My idea for this drawing was to draw my grandparents and give it to them as a Christmas gift. I started this drawing too late, so I wasn't able give it to them on time. I got the idea to draw this when I was thinking of a gift to give them for Christmas. I decided a combo drawing would look cool to give them, and it would be something they could keep for a long time. This was a picture of them on the beach in South Carolina.
The only tools I have used so far were pencil and charcoal. I used a pencil to outline the sand, the water, and my grandparents. I then went over it again darker, to make it more realistic. Then, I colored them in with charcoal, to make them more realistic.
This artwork is a symbol of nature. Both the beach and the people are wonderful creations.
The most difficult part of this drawing, was the charcoal. When I was using it, it smeared all over, and I couldn't find a way to fix it. I asked for help, and I got it cleaned up and looking decent again. If I could start over and change something, I would be more careful with the charcoal. It spreads out easily and is hard to clean up.
This style of art is realistic. I love this drawing, because it looks pretty realistic, other than a few small details.
