One of the projects that I made this year would be these 3 things. The top and bottom projects are called slump bowls. And the one in the middle is a pitcher. The slump bowls were kinda difficult. I say this because at the end of the project you have to flip up the sides and in my opinion it was pretty difficult for me. The easy parts about these were glazing them at the very end when they get out of the kiln room. Another easy thing would be putting the design on them. It was easy because all you have to do is put the design you want on the bowl then push it into the bowl and its very satisfying. The hardest thing about the pitcher would probably be making the sides smooth and connecting two sides together. I say that because with making the sides smooth you would have to keep a very close eye on everything so it wont crack. and connecting the sides was hard because most of the time for me it just wouldn't connect and it would be frustrating. The easy part would obviously be glazing it because its really simple and easy. That was my project with the slump bowls and the pitcher.

Another project that I made this year was this press bowl. This project was really difficult for me. I say this because just getting the edges and the outside and the inside. They were hard because I tried so many times to make it smooth and every class it would just not be smooth. Another hard thing about this was adding on the feet to the bottom. This was hard because my feet were all different sizes to begin with and I had to redue them a couple times. Another hard thing would be adding the K and the 1 on both sides of the bowl. This was hard because making both of them in general was a little hard because they both wouldn't look like what they were supposed to look like. But the easy parts of this project would be glazing and making the bowl get its shape. I said glazing because its basically just painting it. I said having the bowl get its shape because all you have to do is to get a bowl then fill the bowl up with clay. Then all you do is just wait and it will turn into a bowl.

Stop motion 1

For this project me and Noah made this stop motion video. In this video we made a paper crane. For me personally i've never made one of these before but for this project I folded some of the parts. I took some of the pictures to. And for Noah he has made some of these before. It wasn't that hard at all we would just take our time making this so we wouldn't make a mistake, it was pretty fun even though most of it was just folding a piece of paper.
