I took this from my moms facebook page. It is of when my family went to Punta Cana. I got the idea from just looking at random pictures and this one looked cool to draw. I used multiple different tools like a blending stick for the water or a eraser for the clouds. The difficult part of this drawing was prolly the difference in water and sand. It was hard to blend them into each other and make them look distinct. I went for realism for this drawing. I tried making it uniquie by using pen for the people and I tried to highlight the water so you could tell it was the ocean.

I got this idea from my farm and how there are always frogs our there. I made this for my grandma and I tried to recreate this frog I found on the internet. I used carbon print to trace out the outline on the black paper. Then I used the pastel colored pencils and then a blending stick to blend the red, yellow, and blue together. Then after i finished with the frog I drew the leaf so then it was sitting on something. Then I went through and highlighted the body for a realistic look. The most diffcult part was tracing and trying to make it perfect. I learned how to trace without leaving anywhere I messed up. I like how this turned out. I went for realism for this drawing. What makes this uniquie is the spots and how they slowly fade into black on the legs. I added this to make it look better. I love how I blended the colors and I like how well they went together.
